Where the frilly heck did January go? I feel like we just rang in the New Year and the first month has passed me by with little to show for it. *shakes head*

I’ve started inching towards nervous since my closing date still seems to be on track, but I haven’t gotten a hold of my uncle yet. I need to so I can arrange for him to paint the new house and while I now know the personal drama that has erupted in that household (and the third bad thing of the year) I still need his help and I hate feeling like an ass for asking for his help. I do intend to pay him though so it’s not like I’m asking for a freebie. :)

I also completed two drabbles for tthdrabbles new challenge and I tried on a new fandom. Woot!
