Where the frilly heck did January go? I feel like we just rang in the New Year and the first month has passed me by with little to show for it. *shakes head*

I’ve started inching towards nervous since my closing date still seems to be on track, but I haven’t gotten a hold of my uncle yet. I need to so I can arrange for him to paint the new house and while I now know the personal drama that has erupted in that household (and the third bad thing of the year) I still need his help and I hate feeling like an ass for asking for his help. I do intend to pay him though so it’s not like I’m asking for a freebie. :)

I also completed two drabbles for tthdrabbles new challenge and I tried on a new fandom. Woot!

My closing date was moved forward to Feb 10^th which is a shame because now my 13 tattoo is just a 13… I need to do something awesome on the next Friday the 13^th.  I’m thinking skydiving, which would be in April and still keep it before my 30^th birthday. Skydiving is one of the things on my list to do before I’m 30.  *ponders*I need to figure out how superstitious I am.

My muse seems to have finally reemerged from her year long hibernation. I firmly blame dhfreak for the short I’ve written and it will be posted once I reread it a few more times to ensure it doesn’t suck. :) I’ve also felt the urge to work on hell!Buffy which I haven’t really thought about in awhile which means this weekend I shall be rewatching some season 3 SPN to get back into the boys’ mindsets.

Also why is LJ still not sending my notifications? *growls*

Just an appraisal and FHA agreement left before my loan is ready for closing. I think this might actually happen and now I’m becoming more excited/nervous. The appraisal is suppose to happen today and my realtor just needs to get back with my lender on the FHA agreement. Come on seller sign!
