I finished the 5K today in about 45 minutes which is what I was going for, but for some godforsaken reason the race delegates added a friggen bridge to the race. I was lucky to finish at all. :/ I told my BF to just leave me on the side of the road and go on without me... she made me jog instead.

Unfortunately, this made me realize that I need to push myself harder with my workouts. Ugh. Though they may have made me run a bridge—TWICE—they did supply me with free beer afterwards. It might’ve been 9AM, but I enjoyed that frosty beverage like it was ambrosia.

I posted the tamingthemuse prompt (which is more of the first scene than an actual chapter, but I'm taking it as a win) and the picfor1000 challenge response. Woot!
