So the fifteenth and final chapter of Oleander Wine is up and ready for reading. Hopefully those who have held off until this chapter to read will be kind enough to tell me if they liked it and what they think I could do to improve upon the series. (Though please don’t ask for a Scooby to suddenly start riding shotgun. I get enough of that already.) On bright and shiny news I hit 10 recs and over 400 trackers with the last chapter. I'm so freakin' excited.
The ‘bridge’ story has been started and currently has a little over 1400 words written so far. I also started a manip/fanart ‘story’ to possibly cover snippets and scenes between all the stories. The premise is its Buffy’s journal (think John Winchester’s journal) and so far it’s a pain in the arse, but I’ve never attempted anything like this so it should be interesting. I may or may not limit the posting of that to the LJ. It depends on the fickleness of my own muse and creativity.
***Edit: I jumped two recs in less then 30 minutes of the last chapter being posted. *bounces*

Date: 2009-09-08 03:53 pm (UTC)LOL I take it you're happy to be able to read the last chapter and yay for early postings! I had a three day weekend that I spent beaching it and quasi-filled with debauchery. Gotta love those house parties. ;)
The bridge story will mostly be Sunnydale based with snippets of the goings on for the SPN characters. IE you might actually see a brief glimpse of Sam and Dean in this one. ;)
I might take you up on the art help. I'm currently trying to create a base template for the journal itself so I can just make adjustments to it as I write entries, but I'm having a heck of a time making it believable. I think I might have to resort to purchasing one and using that as my base. The upside to that is the different backgrounds I'd be able to give it.
Happy readings to you, sweetie!
